Who are we ?
Culinara is a premium lifestyle brand born from three generations of kitchenware skill and deep passion. Our roots go back to Shah Agencies, a name trusted across Indian homes for quality, care, and honest, dependable craftsmanship. That past taught us how to make a kitchen truly work well every single day. It also taught us how to make any gift feel genuinely special too.
Today, this path is led forward by Yuvan Malik, the third generation to take our family business boldly ahead. We make cutlery, drinkware, kitchen tools, and hotelware that mix daily use with a clean, timeless look, all built from steel with real, thoughtful care and fine detail.
Our range moves from the home table to the gift table with ease, since good design should live in daily life, not only in rare, special moments.
Why choose us?
The Indian kitchen has changed. It is no longer only a place of function — it is a place people photograph, gift from, and take pride in. But somewhere in the shift toward premium and imported kitchenware, something got lost: the idea that beautiful objects should also be built to last a lifetime, the way they always were.
Culinara exists to bring those two ideas back together — design that feels considered and contemporary, built on the manufacturing knowledge and quality standards of a family that has spent three generations perfecting them.
Every collection we make is designed to do two things at once: hold up to daily life, and feel special enough to give away. A Culinara piece should work as well on an ordinary Tuesday as it does wrapped for a wedding, a housewarming, or a festive table.
The premise of our store
Craft is not optional.
Every piece we make carries the manufacturing discipline of a family business that has never known another standard.
Beautiful things should be used, not just displayed.
We design for real kitchens and real hands, not just for photographs.
Giving well is its own craft.
In India, gifting is never a small gesture — it is an expression of respect, celebration, and care. We design with that weight in mind.
Sustainability is a responsibility, not a trend.
Materials that last decades are, by definition, materials that waste less.
About Us
A Legacy, Reimagined
Culinara did not begin as an idea. It began as an inheritance.
Three generations ago, Shah Agencies opened its doors with a simple conviction: that the objects people use every day — the knife that cuts their vegetables, the glass they drink from, the spoon they feed their children with — deserve to be made well. Decade after decade, that conviction built a reputation. Hotels trusted Shah Agencies to equip their kitchens. Families trusted it to equip their homes. Quality was never a marketing line; it was simply how things were done.
Yuvan Malik grew up inside that legacy — around steel sheets and sample cutlery, price lists and factory floors, long before he understood what any of it meant. What he did understand, even as a child, was that his family didn’t sell kitchenware. They sold trust, one household at a time.
Culinara is Yuvan’s answer to a question he inherited along with the business: what does that same trust look like for a new generation of Indian homes?
Looking Ahead
Shah Agencies built the foundation. Culinara is building what comes next — for the modern Indian home, the modern Indian host, and everyone who believes that the things we use every day are worth getting right.
Founded by Yuvan Malik, third-generation custodian of the Shah Agencies legacy.

What do people say?
“I picked up two Culinara tumblers thinking I was just buying myself a nicer water bottle for the office — I run my own business, so I’m juggling calls, meetings, and honestly forgetting to drink water most days. The insulation actually works, my coffee stays hot till my 11am meeting, and it doesn’t sweat all over my desk. The real surprise was buying one for my 5-year-old nephew. I got it thinking he’d lose interest in a week like every other bottle we’ve bought him. Instead, he now insists on taking his ‘popular bottle’ to school every single day and shows it off to his friends. It’s light enough for him to carry, doesn’t leak in his bag, and the size is just right for a kid his age — not one of those oversized ones that he’d never finish. What I love most is that the same brand works for a busy entrepreneur and a kindergartner, without either of us feeling like we compromised on quality or style. Culinara has genuinely become part of both our daily routines.”

When our friend gifted us a Culinara barware set for our housewarming, we honestly weren’t prepared for how complete it would be — every tool you could think of for a proper home bar, from the jigger to the strainer, all sitting together like they were made as one piece. The glasses alone felt like the kind of thing you’d find in a five-star hotel bar, not a gift box. What really got us was the leather case the set came in — the quality was top-tier, the kind of detail that makes a gift feel like an heirloom rather than a purchase. And somehow, this barware set travelled all the way from Delhi to Mumbai and arrived without a single scratch. That’s packaging done right. If you’re looking for a housewarming gift that actually gets used — and shown off — a Culinara barware set is it. We use ours every weekend now, and it’s the first thing guests ask about.

“Running a bakery in Gurgaon means my equipment gets used hard, every single day — no exceptions, no days off. I’d been through three sets of cheap whisks and warped cake moulds before a fellow chef pointed me to Culinara’s HoReCa collection, and it’s honestly changed how I think about kitchen equipment. The whisks hold their shape even after months of heavy batter work, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve dealt with wires bending out of place mid-service. The cake moulds are a different story altogether — even heat distribution, no warping even at high oven temperatures, and they’ve survived hundreds of bakes without losing their finish. For a bakery, that consistency is everything; a warped mould means an uneven cake, and that’s not something I can afford to risk with a client order. What sold me long-term was realizing this wasn’t consumer-grade kitchenware repackaged for restaurants — it’s actually built for commercial volume. I’ve since moved a good chunk of my kitchen over to Culinara’s HoReCa range, and my team notices the difference too.”
