Shipping Policy

Effective Date: 10 August 2026
Last Updated: 10 August 2026

This Shipping Policy governs the shipment and delivery of products purchased through the official Culinara® website, www.culinara.in.

Culinara® is a brand operated by Shah Agencies (“Culinara®”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy, together with our Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.

We aim to provide a reliable, transparent and convenient delivery experience. Orders placed through Culinara® may be fulfilled through third-party logistics and courier partners, including services facilitated through Shiprocket.

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed after successful confirmation of the order and payment.

We normally aim to dispatch confirmed orders within 1–3 business days, subject to product availability, order verification, payment confirmation, packaging requirements and other operational circumstances.

Orders placed on Sundays, public holidays or during periods of unusually high order volume may require additional processing time.

Dispatch means that the order has been handed over to the designated logistics/courier partner. Dispatch does not mean that the order has been delivered.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will ordinarily receive shipment and tracking information through the contact details provided at checkout.

2. Shipping and Delivery

Culinara® currently ships to serviceable locations within India.

Delivery timelines displayed at checkout or communicated through order/shipping notifications are estimated delivery timelines, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Actual delivery time may vary depending on:

  • Delivery location and pincode;
  • Courier availability and serviceability;
  • Weather and natural conditions;
  • Public holidays and regional holidays;
  • Festivals and periods of unusually high shipping volumes;
  • Transportation or logistical disruptions;
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information;
  • Recipient availability;
  • Security restrictions at residential societies, offices or other premises;
  • Government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances or other events beyond reasonable control; and
  • Other circumstances affecting the logistics network.

Culinara® will make reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are dispatched and delivered within the estimated timeline communicated to the customer.

3. Shipping Charges

Applicable shipping charges, if any, will be displayed at checkout before the customer completes the purchase.

Where Culinara® offers free shipping, the applicable free-shipping threshold and conditions will be displayed on the website or at checkout.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, free shipping applies only to eligible forward deliveries and does not automatically mean that return, re-shipment or Return-to-Origin (“RTO”) transportation costs will be waived.

The total amount payable by the customer, including applicable delivery or shipping charges and applicable taxes, will be displayed before order confirmation.

4. Courier and Logistics Partners

Culinara® may use third-party logistics platforms and courier partners to transport orders.

Shiprocket may be used as a shipping aggregation and logistics-management platform to facilitate courier selection, shipment processing, tracking, NDR management and related logistics functions.

The actual courier responsible for delivery may vary according to destination, serviceability, availability, shipment characteristics and operational considerations.

Culinara® does not guarantee that every order will be transported by a particular courier unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Shiprocket’s own terms, conditions, service limitations and applicable courier-partner terms may also govern the logistics services provided to Culinara®.

5. Order Tracking

Once an order has been dispatched, customers may receive an AWB/tracking number through email, SMS, WhatsApp or another applicable communication channel.

Customers can use the tracking information supplied by Culinara® to monitor shipment progress.

Shipment tracking is dependent upon updates received from the relevant logistics/courier partner. Culinara® cannot guarantee that every tracking scan will appear immediately or continuously.

Shiprocket provides shipment-tracking functionality using information associated with the shipment and its courier network.

6. Delivery Attempts and Customer Availability

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate and serviceable delivery address, including:

  • Recipient’s full name;
  • Flat/house/shop number;
  • Building/society name, where applicable;
  • Street/locality;
  • City;
  • State;
  • PIN code; and
  • A valid mobile number.

Customers should also ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the shipment.

Where a delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the address is incorrect/incomplete, the premises are closed, the customer refuses delivery, the courier cannot contact the recipient, or for another delivery-related reason, the courier may record a Non-Delivery Report (“NDR”).

Depending on the courier’s procedures, delivery may be re-attempted before the shipment is returned to Culinara® as Return to Origin (“RTO”).

Shiprocket describes NDR as a record of an unsuccessful delivery and RTO as the return of an undelivered shipment to the original pickup location. Courier partners may make multiple delivery attempts before an order is returned.

Customers are therefore strongly advised to respond promptly to delivery calls, SMS messages or NDR communications.

7. Return to Origin (RTO)

An order may be returned to Culinara® as RTO where delivery is unsuccessful, including circumstances such as:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address;
  • Recipient unavailable;
  • Recipient refusing to accept the parcel;
  • Premises being closed;
  • Recipient being unreachable;
  • Failure to respond to delivery/NDR communications;
  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts; or
  • Other circumstances resulting in non-delivery.

RTO is a logistics outcome and does not automatically constitute an approved cancellation, refund or product return under Culinara®’s Returns & Refunds Policy.

Shiprocket notes that RTO shipments can result in additional shipping/logistics charges for sellers.

If an order is returned to Culinara® because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including an incorrect address, refusal of delivery or repeated failure to accept the shipment, Culinara® may, where legally permissible and depending on the circumstances, deduct reasonable actual shipping/logistics costs from any amount otherwise refundable or require payment of applicable re-shipping charges before attempting another delivery.

Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Indian law.

8. Delayed Shipments

Although Culinara® and its logistics partners make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, delivery may occasionally be delayed because of circumstances outside Culinara®’s reasonable control.

If your order appears to be delayed, please contact us at:

help@culinara.in

We will review the shipment status and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant logistics/courier partner.

Where a shipment is materially delayed beyond the delivery schedule communicated to the customer, Culinara® will address the matter in accordance with applicable law and our Terms & Conditions.

9. Lost, Damaged or Tampered Shipments

Culinara® takes reasonable precautions to inspect and securely package products before dispatch.

We also maintain packing-related photographs and/or videos of products and shipments as part of our internal quality-control and dispatch-verification process.

If a parcel appears visibly damaged, crushed, opened, wet, tampered with or otherwise compromised at the time of delivery, customers should:

  1. Photograph/video the outer package before opening it;
  2. Record the condition of the package and any visible damage;
  3. Record a continuous unboxing video from the unopened package through removal of the product(s);
  4. Preserve the original packaging, labels and shipping materials; and
  5. Contact Culinara® at help@culinara.in as soon as possible.

For damaged-product claims, the requirements and deadlines contained in Culinara®’s Returns & Refunds Policy will apply.

Where appropriate, Culinara® may coordinate with the relevant courier/logistics provider and/or raise a logistics claim.

Certain Shiprocket shipment-protection products may provide protection for eligible shipments subject to their applicable conditions, eligibility requirements and claim procedures.

10. Damaged Products on Delivery

Culinara®’s general policy is not to accept change-of-mind or ordinary preference-based returns.

Returns are primarily accepted for products that arrive damaged, defective or otherwise qualify under Culinara®’s Returns & Refunds Policy.

To report a damaged product, the customer must email:

help@culinara.in

within 7 days of receiving the order.

The customer should provide:

  • Order number;
  • Name and contact details;
  • Photographs of the shipping package;
  • Photographs showing the damage;
  • A clear unboxing video;
  • Any relevant courier/shipping information; and
  • Any other information reasonably requested by Culinara®.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may affect our ability to verify the claim.

The complete procedure, eligibility requirements and available resolution options are governed by Culinara®’s Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Packaging and Quality-Control Records

Before dispatch, Culinara® may photograph or video products and/or packages during the packing and dispatch process.

These records may be used for:

  • Quality control;
  • Order verification;
  • Fraud prevention;
  • Investigation of damage claims;
  • Courier/logistics claims;
  • Dispute resolution; and
  • Compliance and record-keeping purposes.

Such records will be handled in accordance with Culinara®’s Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

12. Incorrect Address or Customer-Provided Information

Customers are responsible for reviewing their delivery information before placing an order.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, Culinara® may attempt to correct the address before dispatch where operationally possible.

Once a shipment has entered the courier network, address changes may not always be possible.

If the shipment cannot be delivered because of incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, the shipment may be subject to NDR and/or RTO procedures.

Additional shipping costs may apply where the customer requests re-shipment after an RTO, subject to applicable law and Culinara®’s policies.

13. Refusal or Cancellation at the Doorstep

Customers are requested not to refuse delivery merely because they have changed their mind about the purchase.

Culinara® does not offer general change-of-mind returns unless specifically stated for a particular product or required by applicable law.

Where a customer refuses a shipment at the doorstep without a qualifying reason, the shipment may be processed as an RTO.

Any subsequent cancellation, refund or re-shipment will be handled according to the applicable Culinara® policies and applicable law.

14. Cash on Delivery

Where Cash on Delivery (“COD”) is offered, availability may depend on the delivery pincode, order value, product type, courier availability and other operational criteria.

COD orders are subject to a non-refundable convenience fee of INR 99, which is charged in addition to the order value. This fee covers payment handling, cash collection, reconciliation and logistics processing costs associated with COD orders.

COD orders may also be subject to additional verification.

A customer who places a COD order is expected to accept and pay for the shipment when it is delivered, including the applicable COD convenience fee.

Repeated refusal of COD orders, suspicious ordering behaviour or other circumstances may result in COD availability being restricted for future orders, subject to applicable law.

15. International Shipping

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the website, Culinara® currently does not offer international shipping.

Any future international shipping service will be governed by separate terms addressing customs duties, import taxes, documentation, prohibited items and international logistics requirements.

16. Force Majeure

Culinara® will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform shipping-related obligations to the extent caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
